Useful links on Windows Workflow Foundation!

Recently, after a project requirement, i was asked to look into Windows Workflow Foundations and i found out that it more or less borrowed its concepts from biztalk server.

Tracking, persistance, rules engine, etc..are all almost same. However, workflow foundation is more of a language driven workflow (unlike biztalk, which is orchestration driven workflow)….

So, for a first timer, to get a good idea on Windows Workflow Foundations, here are some useful links: – Paul Andrew (program manager-windows workflow foundations,Microsoft) has published many webcasts for different level of developers. Interesting stuff!!! – Tomlake, a fellow bloggers, has good posts on WWF for beginners. – A ‘ la MSDN ..this website is a MUST to go through as it contains loads of information on Windows Workflow Foundations, downloads, webcasts, and many more. – This link shows the WWF,WCF and WPF Forums available for developers to post their queries.

Keep watching this blog for more posts on WWF, links and more..:)

  1. I’ve also done a WebCast on WinWF with BTS2006 solutions.

I basically spent 14 months on BTS06 + WinWF(on the TAP program, from pre-alpha till release) and developed a solution for a large client.

I decided to elaborate on a few things.

Let me know how you go.
