Hi All, Microsoft BizTalk Server Team has released “BizTalk Services” today on and on Microsoft Connect site. BizTalk Services are similar to webservices which can be hosted on and other various technologies developed in Connected Systems framework (such as sharepoint server, wcf, etc). The following services are available with today’s release:

  • Message Routing – similar to firewall friendly B2B messaging service
  • Simple Publish/Subscribe event brokering – Publish/Subscribe on internet (coming soon)
  • Simple federated identity and access control – simple to AD access
  • Workflow processes – Simple templates for cross-organization integration and orchestration of business processes interacting with multiple services (coming soon)

The good thing i find about these services are they are available on internet and can be easily integrated inside various applications.

Keep watching this space for more news on this and more…
